Robson and Puritan accepts proposals with completed manuscripts from authors on a continuous basis, with and without an agent. We are an independently run imprint, and our submission guidelines are below.

We accept submissions from independent authors on a non-exclusive basis. As a result, you may continue your pursuit by “going wide” to maximize your reach and sales across a variety of platforms. We believe in the benefit of self-publishing as a means to assign different formats of your books – print, ebook, audiobook, TV program, film, translation and more – to different publishers and rights buyers, for appropriate compensation. All submissions to Robson and Puritan will be answered via email within 30 days.

Before submitting: Please read the guidelines carefully. All elements of your submission must be present to be considered. How your proposal is prepared (overview, bio, marketing plan, etc.) gives our team a good indication of how you will be able to talk about and market your book to potential readers and booksellers. Only complete submissions will be considered.
All submissions are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, and no preference is given to agented authors.
Please email proposal questions to contact@robsonandpuritan.com and refrain from requesting an update on your proposal before the 30-day review period. Also note that we do not offer editorial notes or feedback on submissions.

If any of our submission guidelines do not meet your access needs, please email us your request at contact@robsonandpuritan.com and in the subject line put: accessibility needs
